The government made a decision on administrative and territorial changes in the municipality of Pomorie, as a result of which the village of Kamenar became a district of Pomorie. The administration will have the right to apply for projects related to a number of European programs. Until now, financing was possible only within the framework of the EP "Rural Development". Kamenar is located only 6 km from the municipal center and is becoming better and better for young families to live in.
With the annexation of the settlement, it will be possible to optimize the transport scheme serving the two settlements and improve the population's access to the medical, educational, social, cultural and administrative services offered daily in the municipal center.
