The Ministry of Bulgaria, through the Embassy of Bulgaria in Tel Aviv, managed to secure 57 seats for Bulgarian citizens on board the private airline that operated a flight from Israel today.

Among those successfully evacuated from the country are 29 tourists, families with small children, citizens who were in particularly risky areas, and humanitarian cases.

In the event that the situation allows it, opportunities remain open to use regular flights on the Tel Aviv-Sofia route of Bulgaria Air and El Al companies, as well as the Haifa - Larnaca (Cyprus) ferry connection, the Foreign and Diplomatic Office reported. This will cover all Bulgarians staying in Israel on a short-term basis, as well as several humanitarian cases.

Today's flight was the third consecutive flight from Tel Aviv connected with the evacuation of Bulgarian citizens.
