Turkey allowed entry for citizens of Bulgaria (a single EU country) with ID cards. Undoubtedly important is the fact that "Bulgaria is our very valuable neighbor and ally, and there are many important issues on which we should actively work", as the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Ms. Eileen Sekizkok stated in the "24 Hours" newspaper.
