A large-scale renovation of the Via Pontika alley in Sozopol has begun.
The project is divided into two stages. Reconstruction of the street is conditionally divided into northern and southern parts.
First, they will start with the northern one. It stretches almost to Sozopolis and is about 2 kilometers, half of which will be built at this stage. Here we are talking about major repairs with the replacement of road surfaces, sidewalks, installation of drainage and everything necessary.
Sidewalks are an important part of renovation because they are not everywhere. Soon it will change and become convenient for both pedestrians and drivers. The first phase will be completed by May this year. The idea is to finish it before the start of the season so that people can use it during the busiest months for the city and municipality.
